Celebrating builders during a Pandemic!
TLDR: If you feel like you have a problem (experienced by other members as well) that can be solved with software and just want to work with no friction developers to build out the initial solution for free, we’re here to listen! We’d love to build a free pilot offering together with you. Connect with us on LinkedIn to take this conversation ahead.
The current ongoing pandemic has changed our lives forever. In less than a month, we’ve seen changes we never imagined as we entered 2020. We’re all starting to accept the fact that we may have to live differently from now on, and no one knows what this different world will look like.
We will get to see more of this different world as stay-at-home restrictions in different countries are lifted. Even as US reopens, we’ll have organizations following their own protocols, for e.g: with twitter announcing WFH forever policy, we’re sure more companies will follow giving rise and power to remote working and communication tools.
Need for more builders
Many influencers are emphasizing that we need more builders in the economy, but who are these builders?
At ByteBeacon, we thought we were builders and we learned a hard lesson. A few product we built were for problems that either didn’t matter or just impacted us. The problem either didn’t exist or only existed for us in a very specific way.
We thought we can just build solutions in isolation, and people will adapt to the solution. This is not how you build great products!
Stages of building
What we realized was building isn’t just about implementing. you first have to build your understanding of the problem. What is it that really needs to be addressed or changed in the current workflows. Then comes the building of a potential solution to see if the market reacts. And finally implementing iteratively on the solution to make sure adoption validates this theory.
With this new process in mind, we wanted to reach out to all, and urge them to think about a REAL problem you encounter on a day to day basis. Are your current tools working for you or you working for your tools and making the flow work? A few examples:
- CXO: How important is internal communication and transparency. Can a new slack app help with that?
- Recruiters: What can help you close good candidates faster. Is take home coding challenge a better faster option now?
- Managers: How much do you care about employee engagement / efficiency when folks are wfh? How do you measure it?
- HR: If you’re team is remote, what challenges do you face now? Can your tools support your new flows?
.. the list goes on.
Our offer
